Corporate gifts
Year-end gifts: the ideal schedule to avoid last-minute delays
The seasonality of corporate gifts concentrates 70% of the annual volume into the last six weeks of the year. A reverse schedule prevents stockouts and extra costs.
September: selection and budget
Establishing the overall budget, allocation between categories (clients, partners, employees), initial advisory visit to the wine merchant, tasting sessions.
Late September to mid-October: validation
Selection of cuvées, formats, and gift sets. Approval of customisation proofs (labels, wooden boxes). Signing of the purchase order.
Late October: production
Launch of custom label production, wooden box engraving, and printing of tasting booklets. Typical lead time is 3 to 5 weeks depending on complexity.
Mid to late November: multi-address deliveries
Dispatch of individual shipments for delivery between 1 and 15 December. Shipments sent after mid-December carry a risk of delay to distant areas.
December: hand deliveries
In-store pickup in Nice or on-site delivery for hand deliveries (client meetings, internal events). This stage must be coordinated with the company schedule.
Frequently asked questions
- What if the order is placed in December?
- Options are limited to non-customised in-stock products. Customisation becomes impossible within the timeframe.
- Is multi-year planning possible?
- A multi-year framework agreement with the wine merchant secures stock for the selected cuvées and streamlines lead times.
- Is a last-minute order possible?
- Yes, by relying on standard in-stock gift sets without customisation, within a 48 to 72 hour timeframe depending on the area.
